A couple items for a Tuesday. The first thing that happened was I dropped Kai off at Little Red. It was a hot day, so I was happy they took my suggestion for water play today (rather than Friday when it is only going to be 70 degrees).

I took him for his haircut at 3:45. Since he usually watches my phone for a distraction, all I got was this picture from the outside.

 Shortly after we came back, my parents arrived. It is a good week for them to come, and nice for Kai to have a different voice to listen to rather than mine. I'm not sure how my mom can still play on the floor, but she said stretching helps.

We've had this fly around for a few days, and I finally killed it on the ceiling. However when it fell back to the ground, I couldn't find it. My search party was there to help. My mom asked Kai to get a light, so he came back looking like this...

After dinner, Kai wanted to go biking, which was great. Then he only wanted to go with my mom, which was fun to see.

Meanwhile, I watched the baseball all-star game with my Dad for the first time in perhaps 25 years (it's what I'll be doing once I'm done with the blog).

In the evening, Kai had to write a sentence, my Mom is coaching him on as he tries to figure out what he wanted to write today.
