Today is the start of a workweek, but Heidi is off to a conference in New Orleans. We dropped off Kai at 8:15, then hurried home to pack up Heidi for the half-hour drive to Dane County Regional. Her takeoff was around 11:30, so watched my app for her plane. I was lucky enough to get a picture.

Here is my view from the 4th floor at work.
The plane flew to Dallas for a layover before heading onward to New Orleans. Heidi got some great weather photos.

I picked up Kai from school around 4:50. When we got home, I asked him if he wanted to eat on the deck. He said, "no, I want to eat under the bridge."....so, I made basil pesto pasta, packed up some water and we ate under the bridge. It was fun and memorable.
After that, we had some rocks to dig up.
Kai and Nrdib have been working on this one for a while. I finally got a chance to do some digging, and we got it!
I promised Kai an hour under the bridge, so was busy taking the mud and packing it onto this rock.
