There won't be any pictures of Kai today. He went to Little Red in the morning, and then for the most part we were dodging raindrops for most of the day.
After a half day at work, I wanted to show my parents downtown Middleton. We don't have to drive far to have some fun. We ate at Longtable Beer Cafe. I got a lot of entertainment watching my Dad try to figure out how to pay for the food here.
There was a tornado watch for a while, so we stayed for a bit. When the rain lightened up, we took this quick picture before heading to New Glarus.
New Glarus can be a bit of a sleepy town during the middle of the week, so we went for the New Glarus Brewery tour.
My Dad used to work at Leinenkugel's back in the 60's - he worked there for a few months. He enjoyed seeing another small brewery.
One thing my Dad has always wanted to do was to go to Milwaukee for a baseball game, but recently we've said, Warner Park in Madison would be good enough. We were lucky they had the Northwoods League All-Star game tonight. Kai was not interested, so him and my Mom stayed home and played and did homework while we went to the game.
My favorite team nicknames were the Minot Hot Tots and the Traverse City Pit Spitters. It was fun.
Here is the box score of the game.
