Today we all went to House on the Rock. When we parked, my Mom figured we'd be there for about an hour, you know, tour the house...she was wrong.

Here is a picture of us walking through the house. They liked looking through the kitchen and where everything was put. My mom liked the older appliances, just like she had growing up.

Lots of nooks and crannies

The main house has the Infinity Point. It was fun because I knew we were above the trees with nothing below us but trees, but my Mom didn't until she felt the floor shaking. It kind of freaked her out a little bit.

Kai liked filming a bunch of the rooms. I think he liked the instruments the best - I think they are the most amazing. This is him filming it. Just a lot to look at.

More music...

Kai wanted this photo, I'm still not sure why

It appears I've been to the house only in the winter, since I have never seen building 3. This was all new to me.

There's the Dr. Suess book about you never knowing how lucky you are that your bedroom isn't in one place and your bathroom is in the other side of the house - you have to know the book. Regardless, this room reminded me of that. Stairs leading in all kinds of different directions.

Some weird circus collections. The detail was quite amazing.

My mom liked the crowns from Great Britain. Quite the collection.

Kai liked the swords and staffs as well.

And then this orchestra...again, I have never seen this part. Kind of unreal.

When we got home, he was interested in showing them his confidential folder of mythical creatures.

After dinner, we went for walk on the hill to see the Capitol.

We went for a drive tonight. When we went to the high school, he said he wanted to show us his favorite, biggest, non-weedy sandbox. It turned out he was kidding.

Then in chalk, he wrote "Kai is the King"

Finished his homework of writing a sentence...
