Today was one of the days we didn't need to think about putting on any sunscreen.

I know they got outside one time today, probably sometime this morning. I think the plan was to go to the library, but I don't think they got there (but I did to return some items).

 When I was at work, the power blipped out just before noon. I think this is the storm.

Heidi took this picture of Kai from his "Office." He likes to hang out here for 20 minutes or so after Little Red. It is his very quiet corner behind the puppet theater.

Heidi is trying to sell some of Kai's clothes from last school year, as we gear up for the 2025-26 year.

In the evening, we had a homemade pizza. We realized today we might have been using double the dough in prior efforts. The frozen ball comes in a 16-oz package, but the recipe only calls for 8-oz. Today, we used about half of the ball (8-oz) to make the crust. It was good, again.

Kai was talking about taste buds on your tongue. Since the pizza crust always gets a little burned, he thought it might be fun to turn the pizza upside down so you don't taste the burned part, as it will now be on the roof of your mouth. Of course eating it this way meant he might also make a mess. I liked the spirit of his idea.

Also, he thought the smoke detector would go off (it didn't), which is why he is wearing hearing protection.
