We had to clear out of Guan's place by 10AM. After that we went to Toronto Island Park. We parked at the convention centre and walked to the port. There are three ferries, each leading to a different part of the island. We chose the Centre Island, which is where everything is at. The ferry holds about 900 people....I would say almost 900 boarded as there was a dragon boat race. A lot of Chinese people at the race, it was sponsored by the Toronto Chinese Business Association.

Kai really liked the map of the island. The island is about a 10 minute ride into Lake Ontario (total cost about $22 Canadian for the ferry

). There was no way we could get lost.

One of the main attractions though, was getting lost in this hedge maze.

It also made for a nice view of the city.

Around 2:40 we made our way back to Toronto. I was in Toronto in 2002, but didn't get to do the CN Tower. I wanted to make sure I could to it today. Between the three of us, it was $140 Canadian to take the ride to the top.

I was really impressed. It took about a minute to get the main observation area, about 1,135 feet above. It really towers over the city and you can see for miles around.

After that, we drove over the top of Lake Ontario (Canada side). Not much for highlights, but the One Thousand Islands seems like a big attraction on the east side of the lake. Rumor has it that this is where the dressing came from.

It was a long drive, about 5 hours - a lot of time just to get out of Toronto and nighttime construction.

We got to our hotel around 1AM.

Here is our entry into Quebec.
