A few pictures of Montreal. It was a bit of a slow start today after getting in late last night. I'm just happy we found the spot to park the car and got into the building. A lot of codes and emails and things - but it is good you can check in at 1AM all without the help of a person.

I like this Keurig in the room.

Around noon we went to the grocery store. When someone spoke to me in French, I kind of ran away - but I did understand the "sil vou plait" part. Checking out was also confusing, because there was apparently a question about if I wanted the 3 cents off per litre of gas.

Regardless, a few things today. Mont Royal is above the city, and a nice drive. A lot of monuments to Jacque Cartier, an early explorer.

Here is an observation area. You can see the Olympic Stadium in the background from the 1976 Olympics.

Then we took a selfie...

We also saw this raccoon looking for a handout.

Driving around we saw a lot of artistic graffiti - it is one of Kai's favorite (or should I say 'favourite') things to do as we drive.

Waiting for my pictures of Notre Dame to load. I thought it was interesting they charge $16 for an adult to see the church. They do have daily masses at 7AM and 12:15PM that you can attend for free.
