A lot of rain today, and it is likely going to be one of our longest driving days to Halifax.
The route takes us along the St. Lawrence Seaway, across the top of Maine and down the east side of Maine in New Brunswick (and into Atlantic Time Zone) and then across New Brunswick and into Nova Scotia all the way to Halifax.
I'm including a bunch of pictures of rain.
But before we leave, here is the magic mirror from Levis. We asked it a bunch of questions over our stay.
Okay, pictures of rain.
beware of moose
Quebec is French only, but New (Nouveau) Brunswick officially has French and English as their language
some nice lakes
nice views, but the TransCanada Highway doesn't move water off the roadway very well
in the middle of the storm
this plant was on one side of the road, Maine was about 2 miles on the other side of the road
the Appalachians technically are in New Brunswick as well
a selfie of me sleeping
it got so rainy on the road, and we wanted to eat, but we needed a cover, so we pulled in under this funeral home so I could open the back to get food without getting drenched
We also found the world's largest axe.
The Harley riders outside the Tim Horton's in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Here is what a New Brunswick license plate looks like. I had never seen one before.
Arriving in Nova Scotia - this the picture, followed by what it looks like on a nice day.
not taken by us
Finally we made it do our home around 11:45PM Atlantic time.
Morning will come early...
