A warm and then rainy day.
We wanted to get to Marshall Park this morning for a breakfast picnic. It is one of our summer things.
Kai wanted to play Gaga Ball while we were there. I'm somewhat familiar with this game. The kids at school all know how to play it.

In the middle of the afternoon, we went to see Heidi's friend's daughter Chiara perform in the play "Anastasia."
You can't take pictures while inside the theater, but it didn't prevent Kai from drawing what it looked like during the intermission.
Being silly.
We got to meet Chiara in the hall afterwards. We brought her flowers.
We got home around 5PM or so and did some cleaning up and eating and tried on some clothes for the upcoming school year.
Kai enjoyed wearing his new winter jacket.
