Today we left at 8:26AM for Toronto.
The new Ascent was much easier to pack than the Outback, and we had plenty of room for crafting and drawing, and sleeping. It was doing a light sprinkle or just plain cloudy from Chicagoland all the way to Toronto.
Here we are making Lilo and Stitch bracelets in the car.
Then our favorite rest stop in Michigan.
While here, we asked if it was best to cross at Detroit or Port Huron - the lady said Port Huron was faster, so we took the northerly route.
A lot of trucks, but not many cars.
The border guard greeted us with "Hello and Bonjour." He asked how many nights we were staying, if we had accommodations already, if we had any weapons or alcohol. Then he let us through.
We got to our place in Scarborough (a suburb) around 11:15PM.
Quite a few accidents on the road.
Here is our place. It is like a lower flat, kind of unique place.
